Privacy Policy
Under Open Stars Publisher. Last updated: 5 November 2026.
What this tool is
Under Open Stars Publisher is a private tool run only by the owner of the Under Open Stars YouTube channel. It has no other users, no accounts and no public sign-up.
YouTube API Services
The tool uses YouTube API Services. By its nature, that use is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
What it accesses and why
With the channel owner's consent through Google OAuth, the tool:
- uploads the channel's own videos;
- reads and updates the channel's own video details: titles, descriptions, thumbnails, subtitles, playlists and publishing status;
- reads basic channel details, to confirm it is working on the right channel.
It does not access any other person's channel or Google account.
Where data is kept
The OAuth tokens are stored locally on the channel owner's own computer. Videos and their details are sent only to YouTube. The tool has no server or database of its own and does not sell or share this data with anyone else.
This website
This website is static. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics. It is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes requests technically in order to serve the pages.
Revoking access
The channel owner can revoke the tool's access at any time from the Google security settings page, and can delete the local tokens.
